The poster shared by Abhijeet will remind you of the history lessons on Shri Bajiprabhu Deshpande. The one who fought till his last breath to ensure the safety of Shivaji Maharaj, and his dream of Swarajya.

Baji Prabhu Deshpande was a commander in the army of  Shivaji Maharaj who was a master of the art of using a weapon called "Dand Patta". Baji and his brother Phulaji with their  300 men blocked the pass of Pavan Khind for the safe retreat of their king Shivaji Maharaj to the Vishalgad and fought against 10000 Bijapuri soldiers in the Ghodkhind Pass for more than 18 hours. Baji was grievously injured but continued fighting and inspiring his troops until Shivaji'ssafely reaches Vishalgadh and fires three cannon volleys.

This brave tale of valor will be presented by Abhijeet in the next year’s Diwali. The star cast and shoot details may not be available, but we can certainly imagine this film will create history!
